El modelo se sustenta en paradigmas que proponen tomar en cuenta los procesos cognitivos o mentales en la ense\u00f1anza y el aprendizaje para lograr que el estudiante aprenda a aprender.  Tambi\u00e9n se sustenta en aportaciones te\u00f3ricas sobre el curr\u00edculo que permiten ubicar al dise\u00f1o did\u00e1ctico en una visi\u00f3n contextual, es decir, en relaci\u00f3n con los requerimientos sociales y culturales que se le plantean a la educaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se describe el Modelo Operativo de Dise\u00f1o Did\u00e1ctico (MOOD), cuyos cinco pasos generales son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Elaboraci\u00f3n de fundamentaci\u00f3n y directrices curriculares.<\/li><li>Formulaci\u00f3n de objetivos generales y esbozo de contenidos.<\/li><li>Organizaci\u00f3n y desglose de contenidos.<\/li><li>Selecci\u00f3n y desarrollo de estrategias cognitivas.<\/li><li>Formulaci\u00f3n del sistema de evaluaci\u00f3n del aprendizaje.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>El procedimiento propuesto para la elaboraci\u00f3n del dise\u00f1o did\u00e1ctico de una materia o asignatura se aplica a un caso particular, para el cual se presenta un prototipo.
